Continue surface preparation with P180 Kovax Eagle Brand KFAA waterproof abrasive paper. It provides an intermediate step between P120 and P220 in a progressive sanding sequence. Kovax, a pioneer in Japanese waterproof abrasives, supplies professional sanding systems for automotive refinishing and furniture finishing.
Pros
- Controlled Grit Progression: Use P180 to refine the scratch pattern left by a coarser grade before moving to finer abrasive paper.
- Durable Abrasive Construction: Resin-bonded aluminum oxide supports a consistent cut during demanding sanding work.
- Flexible Waterproof Backing: The anti-slip paper backing helps maintain control during wet hand sanding. KFAA is recommended for primer-surfacer and harder surfaces.
