Engineered for demanding permanent bonding, tesa® ACXplus 7273 MP die-cut squares deliver exceptional strength and performance. This 800 µm double-sided acrylic foam tape expertly absorbs dynamic loads and compensates for thermal expansion, simplifying assembly with pre-cut, high-adhesion solutions.
Pros
- Dynamic Stress Management: Advanced viscoelastic acrylic core effectively absorbs dynamic loads, disperses stress concentrations, and compensates for differential thermal expansion between dissimilar materials.
- Exceptional Bonding Performance: Achieves robust, permanent adhesion on critical industrial substrates, including 35 N/cm on aluminum and 28 N/cm on steel, ensuring long-term structural integrity.
- Optimized Assembly Workflow: Pre-cut 1" x 1" die-cut squares streamline application, eliminate manual cutting, and feature an easy-release liner for rapid, precise, and consistent placement.

Alright, so I picked up this tesa ACXplus 7273 MP tape for a project I was working on, and honestly, I'm pretty happy with it. I've messed around with plenty of tapes over the years, and some of them are just a pain to deal with. This one was pretty straightforward to work with.
The first thing I noticed was how solid the tape felt. It's not like the cheap stuff you grab at the hardware store. The adhesive feels strong, and once you get it pressed into place, it stays put. I used it on a clean, prepared surface, which definitely makes a difference with this kind of tape. Took my time lining everything up, pressed it down, and that was pretty much it.
Now, it's not exactly the cheapest tape out there, so I wouldn't use it for every little thing around the house. But for a job where you need a reliable bond, spending a little more makes sense.
It is really awesome for me. Best tape for my outdoor hangers.
