Refine prepared surfaces with P800 Kovax Eagle Brand KFAA waterproof abrasive paper. Finer than P600, this grade provides a transition toward P1000 when the finishing process calls for further scratch refinement. Kovax, a pioneer in Japanese waterproof abrasives, supplies professional sanding systems for automotive refinishing and furniture finishing.
Pros
- Progression Beyond P600: Use P800 to refine the scratch pattern from earlier preparation before moving to a finer grade. Match each sanding stage to the coating specification.
- Durable Abrasive Construction: Resin-bonded aluminum oxide supports a consistent cut during demanding sanding work.
- Flexible Waterproof Backing: The anti-slip paper backing helps maintain control during wet hand sanding. KFAA is recommended for primer-surfacer and harder surfaces.
