#1000, Japan KOVAX Eagle Brand KFAA Professional Waterproof Abrasive Paper

Continue fine surface preparation with P1000 Kovax Eagle Brand KFAA waterproof abrasive paper. This grade sits between P800 and P1200, allowing a more gradual reduction in scratch depth during a staged wet-sanding process. Kovax, a pioneer in Japanese waterproof abrasives, supplies professional sanding systems for automotive refinishing and furniture finishing.

Pros

• Intermediate Fine Sanding: Choose P1000 when moving from P800 toward a finer finish. It provides an intermediate sanding step where the refinishing procedure specifies this grade.
• Durable Abrasive Construction: Resin-bonded aluminum oxide supports a consistent cut during demanding sanding work.
• Flexible Waterproof Backing: The anti-slip paper backing helps maintain control during wet hand sanding. KFAA is recommended for primer-surfacer and harder surfaces.
