Engineered with an extruded PTFE film backing, 3M 5490 Tape lies flatter than skived alternatives and resists curling during unwind to ensure a uniform, non-stick surface. Combined with a clean-removal silicone adhesive, it delivers exceptional low-friction performance, chemical resistance, and thermal stability to optimize surface movement and suppress equipment noise.
