The Millipore® Millex-GV (Model: SLGVR33RB) is a premium, single-use syringe-driven filter unit optimized for the sterilization and clarification of high-value laboratory solutions, tissue culture media, protein therapeutics, and aqueous admixtures. Featuring a hydrophilic Durapore® Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF) membrane, it delivers the lowest protein-binding characteristics available on the market, minimizing sample losses and ensuring analytical accuracy. Engineered with an enlarged 33 mm housing diameter, this device optimizes the effective filtration surface area to facilitate rapid throughput rates, decrease the mechanical pressure required to clear the syringe barrel, and comfortably handle a process volume capacity up to 100 mL.
